Amelia| Coon Rapids High School
Amelia’s senior session was the perfect reflection of who she is, grounded, confident, and completely at home in the country.
As a graduate of Coon Rapids High School, she wanted her senior photos to feel personal. Not staged. Not forced. Just real.
And for Amelia, that meant incorporating what she loves most, horses, animals, and time spent outdoors.
Incorporating What Matters Most
Amelia’s connection with her horse was a huge part of her story and it brought so much depth to her session.
Including animals in senior portraits always adds something different:
It creates genuine interaction (instead of forced posing)
It brings out personality naturally
It tells a story that goes beyond just “senior photos”
These are the kinds of images families come back to years later, not just because of how they look, but because of what they represent.
Amelia’s outfit choices were a perfect extension of her personality and the overall feel of her session. She leaned into a western-inspired style with subtle, personal details. Her patterned blouse, denim, and cowboy hat was the perfect accessory, that complemented the natural, country setting without overpowering it. Each look felt effortless and true to her, whether she was out in the field, near the barn, or with her horse. The combination of textures, soft colors, and classic pieces created a cohesive look that photographed beautifully while still feeling relaxed and authentic, exactly what a senior session should reflect.
